Diadora Men's Furia Turf Soccer Shoe

I'm a woman and bought this shoe for indoor because the selection in men's turf shoes is better. Even though the turf is cushioned, I look for a little more "fit" and support inside my shoes. There is absolutely NO arch in this shoe - the entire insole is flat like a board and about that hard too. I wear a women's 8 (so men's 6.5) and I ordered a half-size up (I do in all my running and soccer shoes) and my toes were right at the end of the shoe. I usually wear adidas, which I think run wider than the diadoras - this one was narrow for me. These are a very basic shoe for a good price but I'm returning them and purchasing a more expensive pair of Adidas.

This shoe(boot in Soccer parlance ) fits me well and has an ok touch. However, the material is fairly cheap, so it doesn't rate well in the area of comfort.

If you don't want to invest a lot in the shoe, but need something that won't just fall apart in the first game, then get this.

I'm an amateur player. I have played at least two times a week from the last 10 years and my soccer shoes are obviously important. That being said, the only think that I care is durability. I know that there are better looking shoes (love Puma designs) but this one does the job. They have a good feel and they are very reliable.

Maybe it's only me, but I have tried a lot of other (much) more expensive shoes and didn't feel any difference at all with the ball. And in some cases they lasted less than my old Diadora's (I change shoes every 6 months).

In summary. Good, conformable and reliable ugly shoes. I love them. They don't shine or draw attention, but all I want to do is play and have a good time and for the price this ones do the job.
