Comment: These are nice shoes and I like the color but I have 2 complaints. 1: The pic does not show that the majority of the shoe is shiny leather and 2: They are a little narrow for my feet.

Comment: I'm surprised that there are no reviews for these Adidas Samba Vulc's. I bought these in brown and feel they're a very good purchase for the money.

First off, most people are probably buying these for their looks. I think they have a fresh, new look on the classic Samba; actually they really don't even look like a Samba anymore. They look more like a K-swiss or a boat-shoe. They don't look, or feel, very soccer-y anymore, but that's ok. They're mostly for casual use.

The materials on the shoe feel very high-quality. The suede toe area is nice. The shoelaces are solid. The gummy sole is very nice too. Feels better than the relatively-cheap price.

One of my main complaints with Samba's is that they are lacking in padding. These are similar in the padding/sole is pretty bare-bones, but they're not as bad as the basic Samba's. Not as good as the Samba Millenium's but not bad.

These run narrow, so if you have wide feet, I'd definitely avoid them.

They feel like some blend of soccer boot, skate shoe, and fashion-shoe - heck, they almost look nice enough to wear to a casual-dress workplace. Overall, I really like these Samba Vulc's.
